Fourteen years of hands-on work with the nervous system, put in your own hands.
It comes down to one question: what do you do when you're not okay right now?
I've spent fourteen years in craniosacral and somatic practice, mostly with one moment — when a body decides it's safe enough to let go. That moment can be practiced. Most people were never shown how.
What I teach is the self-applied version. The only equipment is a body, and you brought one. A few minutes with your own hands, breath and attention, and you come back to yourself — steady, clear, and ready to go back to the life you love.
There's a line I've carried for years and have never managed to source:
The mind is where the soul goes when the body doesn't feel safe.
That's the whole of it. When a body doesn't register safety, everything moves upstairs — you live in your head, planning, checking, narrating.
The work isn't to think your way back down. It's to give the body enough evidence to reassess — to check its actual circumstances now, rather than the ones it learned to expect.
You don't need to do anything else than what you're doing right now.
Notice what your mind does with it. Mine tends to ask back — well, what am I doing right now? — and then it has to go and look. What it finds is usually something small, bounded, and typically already happening.
Nothing needs arguing with. That's the part I didn't expect.

Also available as a six-part series, and adaptable for staff, volunteers or community groups. I'm glad to talk through what would fit your room.
If you're wondering whether this would fit your group, that's the conversation worth having. I'll tell you honestly if it isn't.
